CAPE CHARLES — On Wednesday, Nov. 10, the Friends of the Cape Charles Memorial Library are sponsoring a day bus trip to Harrington Casino.
Harrington now offers over 1,800 Sizzling Red Hot Slots, Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Mini Baccarat, “Live Poker,” Blackjack Switch, Pai-Gow Poker, 3 & 4 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em, Let it Ride, Casino War, and a 350-seat state-of-the-art Simul-casting Parlor.
The cost is $50 per person (includes the tip for the bus driver, bottled water and a snack on the return trip). Everyone on the bus will receive $15 in casino chips and a lunch coupon. Everyone on the trip must be 21 years old or older.
The bus will pick up passengers at 8 a.m. in the Cape Charles Food Lion parking lot. Pick-up in Exmore is at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the Ace Hardware Store. There will be fun activities and games on bus trip.
On the return trip, the bus departs from Harrington Casino at 5:30 p.m. and will drop off Exmore passengers around 8 p.m. and Cape Charles passengers around 8:30. Times are approximate.
To register for the trip, call Chris at 757-331-2206 for details or drop off a check (for $50 per person), made out to Friends of the Cape Charles Memorial Library, to Chris Bannon at 9 Tazewell Ave. in Cape Charles. Please include the name, contact phone number and e-mail address for each person taking the trip.
